First and foremost, if you've come this far on my site to become a subscriber, I'd like to say thank you! Despite what a lot of today's popular publications and tastemakers might lead you to believe, building a career as an independent artist is far from easy. I began releasing music for my friends and family at the age of 17, which is also around the same time I was discovered by veteran DJ and producer Don Cannon. After creating multiple amateur mixtapes as a young man, I released my first official LP "Broken Dreams" in 2010. That was during the "blog era" when most of us were discovering that you could work around being signed to a major label, release projects directly to your supporters, and the most fortunate artists could gain a great deal of exposure via blog posts and downloads. That process opened many doors and offered me the opportunity to collaborate with an array of great artists, perform all throughout the southern and northeastern regions of the United States, and even garner some major attention from licensing my music to numerous companies in television and film.
I'm extremely grateful for all of my achievements and accolades, however, everything I do is completely self-sustained. This means that studio costs, album production, artwork, venues, photographers, videographers, etc are all commissioned out of pocket. I currently work a full-time job, help other artists/producers foster their ideas into finished products, coordinate events/live shows, and still remain extremely active with my own solo material - which has led me to this wonderful platform today. I would like to offer my dedicated supporters access to unreleased music, exclusive merch, first looks at visual content, and the opportunity to be included in the creation of future projects. This is a community dedicated strictly to the people that believe in what I represent as an artist. My goal is to continue serving you all at the highest quality and sharing your stories through mine.
Quick, and very important piece: You are all equally important to me when it comes to what I do. My music has purpose and does not directly cater to popular trends. I'm privileged by the fact that you all are tuned into my movement at all. So if supporting me in this way is not possible or appealing to you, that's fine! Although it would be greatly appreciated.
